Unlike most web awards, this is given by one of the major players in the interactive
field. Congratulations to Joan Arbeiter

We are speaking with the publishers of "ArtLook", a subscription-based CD-ROM
company that services curators, dealers, and collectors with thematic CD-ROMs
of works by contemporary artists. They will be producing a women's art CD-ROM
for November, 1997. We are negotiating the inclusion of Varo
Registry artists. We'll keep you posted!

Our visitors for the months of January, February and March broke the 3,000
per month mark! That's an increase of over 100% from our last collation.

In addition to the U.S. the most frequent countries visiting are: France, Canada,
Australia, Japan, Mexico, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Malaysia, Italy,
Spain, Sweden, Finland, Germany, Belgium, Brazil, Greece, Argentina, Norway,
New Zealand, Israel, Singapore, Switzerland, and Turkey (in that order).

We have implemented a price list feature for all artist's pages. Check your site to see if your
prices are up and if not, contact rmasi@ziplink.net to give her your pricing information.

We have added "Varo-announce". This is a read-only listserv (mailing list)
for Varo Registry artists to recieve up-to-the-minute exciting information about
happenings on the Varo site. We'll also be sending this newsletter to you
directly via e-mail. If you do not receive it by the end of April, e-mail
rmasi@ziplink.net to get signed up.
