"Family," her show of mixed-media drawings about growing up in an alcoholic family, is the subject of a video interview by Jane Scott Productions and a monograph published by Gallerie Publications.
A co-facilitator of the Feminist Photography Ovulars (1979-1981) and a co-founder of The Blatant Image, A Magazine of Feminist Photography (1981- 1983), she is a founding board member and past co-chair of the Gay and Lesbian Caucus (an affiliated society of the College Art Association) and a past national board member of the Women's Caucus for Art. Author of one novel, three collections of short stories and three books of poetry, her most recent book is Mama, Rattlesnakes, and Key Lime Pie. Her autobiography, The Sex Lives of Daffodils, in manuscript form, is accessible through various libraries in the USA.
She has curated AIDS awareness shows, Women's History Month shows, and exhibits of self-portraits by women artists. She is the art books columnist for Feminist Bookstore News and the Women's Caucus for Art (WCA) Update.
Her photo-collages from solarized negatives have been exhibited in "In A Different Light" at University Art Museum, UC Berkeley (1995) and "Sexual Politics" at the Armand Hammer Museum, UCLA (1996).
